Let's Go Nuts

This is another card created for a Lawn Fawn challenge. For some reason, I seem to be stuck on these little squirrels from Let's Go Nuts and paper from the Sweater Weather Remix petite pad.

I started out by inking four small squares that were cut to fit the Foursquare Backdrop: Portrait, with Ranger Distress Oxide in Mustard Seed and Ripe Persimmon. I then speckled the cardstock with metallic copper water color.

I used Copic Markers to color the following elements with the following colors;

Once I had put the card together, I felt is needed a little dimension. I decided to cut out some leaves from scrap cardstock using the Fall Leaves Backdrop. I softened up the leave by stippling them with distressed oxide inks and then I splatted the with the same metallic copper watercolor I used on the small squares. I layered them together and popped them up with a foam square.

  I used left over background paper and leaves to decorate the inside of the card.

Thanks for stopping by!
