Spooky Night With Bats In-Flight

I could probably spend six months out of the year creating Halloween cards. In fact, when I look through my stamp and die collection, Fall and Halloween are by far the clear winner as far as all my supplies go.

This was my first attempt using Lawn Fawn's Flippy Flappy die and I absolutely love how it turned out. I will definitely be using it for gifting gift cards.

I made my own stencil out of card stock to do the inking on my background paper. For the moon, I used Ranger Distress ink in Pumice Stone. I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans for the rest of the sky. I splattered silver metallic watercolor to give it a little shimmer.

To create my scene, I used stamps from Lawn Fawns Spooktacular, Happy Haunting, Fangtastic Friends. I used Copic Markers to color in my pieces.

As I was assembling my scene, I decided that I needed a small piece of ground at the bottom of my card. I used the Grassy Border to cut a small piece of green cardstock. The cardstock was just a little too green so I used Distress Oxide in Forest Moss to soften the color.

I used foam dots to pop up all the piece except for the one small ghost above the tree. He needed to be flat because the little bat that pops out covers him.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you found some helpful information. Stay Spooky!
