The Simple Life

Happy New Year all! I don't usually make new year's resolutions, but this year, I think I am going to start challenging myself to start using all the printed paper I have collected over the years. My "playroom" is about busting with 6" x 6" or 6"x6" pads.

As I was working on these cards, I started thinking about how much time and planning a designer goes through to make a collection that is so versatile. Not only do they have to design the paper and ephemera, they also need to plan on reducing it from a 12" x 12" paper to a smaller size perfect for smaller albums or cards.

I really enjoyed working with this collection from Simple Stories - The Simple Life. These cards were very quick and simple to make. I used cardstock from my stash and a couple of die cuts I had out on my table. I didn't put a sentiment on the inside of the card so it could be used as a notecard.

I think that I may make three more and then tie them together with a pretty ribbon and gift them. What do you think?
