Hello friends! It is only 149 day until Halloween. My friends and family would not be surprised that I am making Halloween cards in June. Halloween is my favorite holiday....hand down. I love it!
Every time I use a Lawn Fawn interactive die for the first time I say it is my favorite. So today the Pull And Pop Pull Tab Die is my favorite. This die is so very easy to use and it adds a real "wow" factor to your card. I am sure I will be using it often.
For this card I ink blended the card background using the Cloudy Stencil and the Birch Tree Stencil with Distress Oxide in Villainous Potion, Prize Ribbon, and Black Soot.
I used the Full Moon Die for the moon. I inked the moon with Distress Oxide in Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed. I added the craters using the Nighttime Sky Stencil and Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. I stamped the sentiment with Simply Fall Sentiments and used the bats from Happy Haunting, which I think is retired.
As I said earlier, this was the first time I used the Pull and Pop Pull Tab Die, so I watched the release video a number of times to make sure I was doing it right.
The bats are from the Fangtastic Friends and the Fangtastic Friends Add On. I used Copic markers to color them in.
Once I had put it all together, I decided it needed just a little pizazz, so I cut some stars from silver glitter paper using the stars from the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag die and glued them around the background. I like that die a lot because it has two sizes of stars and hearts.
I was really happy with the way this card turned out. I like that it looks dimensional even if the pull tab isn't extended.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have some fun plans for this summer!Sandy
