Hello! I hope you are having a great day. There have been very few periods in my life where we haven't had a dog. Right now, we have a real "derpy doo" named Quincy. We got him as a puppy and he is part Great Pyrenees, American Staffordshire and Australian Cattle dog. He is very chill but also VERY stubborn. He brings so much joy to our lives.
I was really excited when Lawn Fawn introduced a new dog themed stamp set this past release. I couldn't wait to play with it.
For the background on this card, I used the Grassy Stencil with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide. Using the opposite side of the grass stencil as a mask, I used some paper tape to mask off where I wanted the sky to be and filled in the middle area with Lost Shadow Distress Oxide. I then place the Brick Stencil over the gray area and used Fired Brick Distress Oxide to make the bricks. I inked the top of the background with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.
Al the images were colored with Copic Markers. The stamp sets that I used are: Simply Celebrate Critters, Simply Celebrate Critters Add On, Critters At The Dog Park, Happy Howloween, Yappy Birthday and Yappy Birthday Add On.
I used Henry's ABC's for the letters.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Sandy
