Apple Picking

Hello!  I have another Hello Bluebird card using two of their recently released stamp collections.  I am new to Hello Bluebird products and I have to say they are some of the sweetest stamps.

I used my Copic markers to airbrush the background of this card also.  However, I wanted to try to use stencils to create a landscape.  I think it worked out pretty good.

To start on this card, I stamped and colored every image using Copic markers in the following colors:

COPICS:
Apples & Boots
    R27, R29, R39
Leaves
    YG61, YG63, YG67
 Baskets
    W1, W3, W5, W7
 Skin
    E00, E01, E02
 Pigs
    ROO, R01, R02
Blouse & Inner Pig Ears
    R20, R21, R22
 Overalls
    B41, B91, B93
 Hair
    Y11, Y21, Y23
 Tree & Step Ladder
    E33, E37, E57

I had to create masks for all the images which, for the most part, was pretty easy, until I got to the tree.  I did the best I could but I still left small slivers of paper connecting the leaves to the tree.  I knew that once I had airbrushed the background, I could go back in this my marker to color in the white areas.  I also did the same thing where there was still a little white around the other objects.

The Copic colors I used on the background are:
    Grass - YG63, YG67
    Sky - BG000, BG01

The stamp and die sets are from Hello Bluebird:
    Apple Picking
    Apple Farm
    Hello Fall Words Die Set

I am really happy with the way this card turned out and I think the whole Copic airbrush system is going to be a game changer for me.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a great day!

Sandy
