Sweater Weather Vibes

Hello card making friends.  I spent World Card Making Day working on a few cards.  To clarify, it actually turned into World Card Making Weekend.

This was a digital stamp from Sweet November Stamps.  It was offered as a free download in celebration of WCMD.  The name of the stamp is WCMD Fall Scrappy.  Isn't he just adorable?

I wanted to use a couple of older patterned paper collections from Lawn Fawn.  They are Perfectly Plaid:Fall and Knit Picky: Fall.  I thought they were just perfect for this card.

Since it was a digital stamp, I reduced the file size and added the sentiment before I printed it out.  I printed an extra image on Post It Tape so I was able to make a mask.  I cut my combined image to 3.75" x 5.0",  Once I had my mask adhered, I used Tea Dye Distress Oxide Ink, to blend my background.  I watered down, Vintage Photo Distress Oxide to spatter my background to give it a little texture.

I used Copic markers in the following colors:

  • BG11, BG13, BG49
  • E13, E15, E18, E29
  • R01, R32, R56, R59, R89
His colors are very similar to my little brindle Quincy, the love of our lives!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you were able to spend a little time this weekend making a card or two.

Sandy
