Hello! I was so excited to be able to catch the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Brutus Monroe collaboration. I love pretty much anything Halloween, but I have a special spot for anything vintage. This set hit my heart. I love the cat and reindeer mugs in this set.
I colored this two different ways because I wasn't sure which one I would like better - a completely green mug or one with a black handle and background. I definitely wanted to color the cat green though.
The coloring was done with Copic markers in the following colors:
- R59, R39, R29
- Y17, Y19, Y38
- G20, YG11, YG45, G43,BG96
- C0, C2, C4, C5, C7, C10
In keeping with the vintage look, I used paper from Carta Bella's Hocus Pocus paper. As I was digging around looking for ribbon, lace or twine, I came across the black fringe by Tim Holtz. It was just perfect!
I love the way these cards turned out. Hopefully you were able to get the stamp set to play with also.
